The customers are starting early CSR peeps!
I sent a new customer an automatic payment form along with a complete explanation of her options (card or bank draft) and that either option would draft on or around the 25th of every month. It also indicates that date on the forms. Pretty much a standard email and form I have used for 15 years to great success.
Hold that thought.
The next day she responds back to the same email saying she has dropped her forms off to be enrolled in the program.
Great!
So I just got the forms from the location. She has completed the forms but crossed out the 25th draft date and put in her own draft date of the 10th.
I look down the email where it still says 25th of the month draft date. No pick your own. No make sure you make a selection. 25th draft date every month for everyone. No asterik with her name at the bottom. Nothing.
I can tell this is going to be a drinking year.
Remember when Eddie Murphy resorted to sign language in a scene I think it was in Beverly HIlls Cop because a person wasn't listening to him?
I typed basic English. I used the standard Arabic numerals we all use and adore.
It's way too early to be starting my year off like this people.

Some people cannot follow basic directions. As evidenced by the 15 adult learners in my Phoenix class this time. Not. One. of. Them.

@Laura14 I'm ornery...I want to suggest to you to send back the paperwork with the 10th crossed out using a red Sharpie and the 25th written back in...sign it XOXO, Uncle Vinny! But I don't want you to lose your job, so I won't suggest it.

I have a friend like that.....the rules/regulations never apply to her ----she makes her own rules....
For example our employer gives us a small stipend to cover small incidental medical expenses not covered by our health care, what we dont use is rolled over to the next year. Since my friend has worked for our company for quite sometime the accumulated money has become a nice tidy sum. So now she said she's switching to her husband's medical insurance and getting all that money out of that account! I pointed out it says cancelation of company's insurance will forfeit all money in that account, her reply.."just watch me get that money!!!"-"I want my money".... I just pity the CS Rep that gets her to deal with....![]()

i know the feeling. at the library, people can not follow rules. one ofacertain item is the limit but think they can follow that rule? nope, no way. andifyou have racked up $25.00 in fines, then no checkout. well, i had a patron with over that amount and he demanded to know why he could not checkout.
another one is why can't i checkout 30 moives when 10 is the limit?
but my favorite is i don't have mycard so can't i checkout?

@shortbreadlover OMG that's classic! My first job was as a page in the library and I loved it. Now I'm thinking not so much. ![]()
You guys are so funny. I'd hate to be the CSR person handling these people too.

WHY are there SO many people who think the rules apply to everyone else?
WHY do I seem to meet SO. Many of them?
