Oh Joy, we have a broken leach line... the guys are happily probing out back yard.. I want to dance with glee as they first emptied our tank and I can do laundry.. it just doesn't take much to make me happy... and I promise to not post a juvenile graphic.. Might need a tin cup to take up money for this joyous event!

Well, at least you can look forward to getting the problem resolved. Any idea how long it will take to fix it?

It sure is- one of the companies I called said they couldn't come today, LOL LOL they are two doors over at our new neighbors.. I do not care for septic tanks but now that this issue will be resolved, I might change my mind.. I was draining my tub last night & heard a big ole gurgle in my husband's shower- red alert! I might have a hearing problem but I try to not miss a beat.

Oh thank goodness! At least you don't have to hear, "We have to order some parts" bologna. I always dread those words. Hope the rest of your day goes extra good for you, Suzie!

It's nice your ground isn't frozen so they can do the work.
We have a company here that empties the tanks and calls itself the Honey Truck. We thought it was an actual honey vessel when we first moved here....LOL

Our leach line froze during the cold snap. We've been without since the 10th on one end of the house. A roto rooter service came out and cleared the line but the plumbers haven't come back to replace the pipes or reset the toilet. I've resumed using the kitchen sink and washing machine because the pipes seem to be handling it but I'm sure the seals have to be replaced. I bought a new commode to put in if they ever do come back. I know they're busy so we wait.
