After this campaign goes away there will probably be another one for a different age group. It doesn't bother me what they say. I don't feel influenced either way and I will buy what I want anyway.

@Queen of shop Agree, except with Men, most don't care like we Women do. We are the ones that spend on the beauty products etc. so it makes sense they target us and not them. Also, Men age better than we do. Grey hair and wrinkles look distigushed and rugged on Men. Not fair.

Doesn't matter what products I use. I will never look this good...

AHHH -- Trying new activities and exploring one's talents aren't the objects of my OG post. Better late than never when a woman chooses to expand her world. IMO those explorations start at age 5 and should NEVER be interrupted or abandoned.

But you're all aware that EVERYONE in the entertainment business has regular and extraordinary tuneups and repairs done to their faces, hair, teeth and bodies.
RIGHT? They're NOT any standards we regular people can compare ourselves to. BTW on this channel I've noticed many "improvements" to the faces of Hosts and guests. Filling in, planing, lifting, injecting....I tried that once but no difference.

@CaliGold67 Yep, it is veiled misogyny. I have always said that. All those things happen to men too. grrrr
This "marketing shtick" has been around since the dawn of time. Women ARE the target audience of most advertising in the U.S. WE do the selecting, comparing ang purchasing of most EVERYTHING for sale. Our demographic has been broken down into subcategories and now many of us fall into that "over 50" and --- Fabulous (?). Well I think I'm ALWAYS FABULOUS but clearly others don't agree. Anyone here experiencing "Ageism"? My OG Post is what I wanted responses to - it's about the current advertising mantra used to sell stuff were told we need BECAUSE WE ARE OVER 50.
P.S. Sorry my posts aren't well placed - I'm working on an iPad which is elitist and uncooperative with other devices functions.
Not so veiled?
I find it offensive. I can't believe any employer would it to be a marketing schtick or allow employees to demean themselves and viewers on air.

Age is a number.
I'm 65 and I wake up and do the same things as a 45 year old. My hair my skin my exercise my clothes.
This AGENDA the Q Put together is a hokey skit to make more revenue and bring in more viewers.
