It has been so nice-IMO-that it has not been seen for some time.  Alas, it is not gone.  Jane Treacy was just wearing it in a promo for  her show with Shawn.  (It followed at the end of the Wen show.  She was promoting a Denim and Co something that will be a part of her show.  She was wearing a blue shirtwaist dress with "the belt".  Help.

What exactly does that mean?  Is Gili coming out with a new obi belt?  You know, Gili didn't invent them.  Obi belts have been around for decades.  Jane was probably wearing a belt from her own wardrobe.  I didn't think about it at the time but the the Martha Stewart TSV shirt would probably work with an obi belt.

It's a classic wrap belt.  Grace Kelly wore it, Audrey Hepburn wore it, and Katherin Hepburn wore it as well as many others I'm sure.

I never jumped on the Obi belt band wagon, but now I wish I had.
