The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office has returned to Olivia Jade several trademark applications, citing, in part, punctuation errors!!!
States the Office: "Proper punctuation in identifications is necessary to delineate explicitly each product or service within a list and to avoid ambiguity...."
"Commas, semicolons, and apostrophes are the only punctuation that should be used".
Not sure exactly what she did wrong, but trademarking "Olivia Jade." with the period might not be acceptable.

M’kay.
Seems like we’re grasping for straws...to hate a stranger.

She should have paid (
) better attention in school.

Olivia Jade suddenly became a banned, verboten topic?

It is always wise to have attorneys help in these matters. There are usually many details that need to be considered that if you are not extremely knowledgable in the area can be missed.

Well there is a certain irony. This is a person who had two (rather expensive if you ask me, given the age of the owner and the setting) Dyson fans in a dorm room that were provided gratis by Amazon, and who dismissively waved a hand at them in the YouTube video designed to showcase it all, and called them "just Dyson fans".
I think we may have flown too close to the sun (Daedelus and Icarus). The things we learn in school.

There is also, apparently legal opposition to her trademark: a company called "Olivia Garden" has filed documents challenging Olivia Jade's requested trademark on Olivia Jade Brushes, since Olivia Garden markets a similarly named product.
You can do a simple trademark search online in advance of your application. Either she did this herself, or her attorney told her to go ahead anyway.

I doubt if she's going to have to worry about trademarking anything for quite a while anyway.

Ahhh, poor baby. She can’t get her trademarks or her spelling and punctuation. I’ll spend my time caring about children in need, abused children and animals. These rich kids need a few life lessons. Maybe then they can spend some time learning their native language.

Trademark or not, who is going to purchase anything from her?
I never heard of Miss O.J. until last month .... yet a million followers who are "influenced" by a TV star's daughter must have nothing better to do with their time and money.
