@CrazyKittyLvr2 No. The bodies would be hidden within the walls & their spirits/souls inside the dolls.

it's either the owners, realtors, or whoever set it up, who are creepy. not the house. go see it if you like it

@freakygirl I know the house is ok. It was just unexpected and weird.
I don't believe in ghosties and goblins.

The upside is that others will nix it and you might get a great price. Maybe request to see it IF seller cleans out that room!

Can you tell us where we can see the pictures of that room?

They have a few realistic looking baby dolls at my mom's memory care. They can bring great comfort to some and helps to soothe the residents and makes them feel needed and connected.
There are quite a few collectors out there maybe even people you know. It's not my cup of tea but to each his own.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 do you have a link to the house? I'm kind of curious. I love looking at properties online.

That would be one big turn off for me.
It may be as innocent as can be but
it is definitely creepy.

@GenXmuse I read this thread and my first thought was "wow I hope these people never meet my Mom's family" lol.
My Mom's family and extended family were all very poor sharecroppers that lived in various shacks in the rural southeast growing up. All the families had a large number of kids because frankly it was free labor when working the farms. Forget having toys, they were lucky to have shoes and mostly attended school barefoot. No indoor plumbing, electricity, etc.
The girls would make their own dolls out of corn cobs and tobacco spools. Those homespun dolls couldn't compete with the "real" dolls other girls in their school would play with and show off. My Mom and her sisters talk about how they always felt inferior, and kids being cruel, they had to endure lots of teasing over their homemade toys.
Many of those young girls would later grow up, become a little more financially stable, and collect real dolls. In my immediate family I still have two aunts that have dedicated rooms in their house for their dolls. My own Mom went through that phase, but thankfully it passed.
I always found it creepy too. I do understand though, how at least in my extended family, the urge to have all those dolls has roots in a very poor childhood.
