There have been and always will be rude, entitled and ugly people in all generations.  I ignored them back then, I ignore them now.

I will say lately I have seen a lot of school age kids walking out and acting out rather than trying to solve a problem in a constructive way.  They seem to expect to get their way simply because it is what they want.  Not that is something that can be done.

However, to me OK means OKLAHOMA

And BOOMER is something that Billy Sims yells at Heisman Trophy ceremonies and gets frowned at for by many).

BOOMER means BOOMER SOONER to me, and I could not care less what a bunch of bratty kids think.  Ignore them.  They will go away in a few years when they may have to get a job.

The phrase is new to me but I'm aware of negative feelings towards the baby boomers.

Ha! I don't take offense. At least I try not to. These kids I was having dinner with are in their mid to late 30s. All employed. Most were moms. I shut them up pretty quick. Especially since the statements made were complete generalizations.

As a boomer it doesn't bother me at all. We older people call the younger generation "snowflakes" and criticize how they do this and that. If you can dish it out , you should be able to take it.

I have an idea!  WRITE THEM A NOTE IN CURSIVE!  That'll fix them!  Or if you're out to dinner ask them to figure up the tip, or pay in cash and ask them if the change is right!

Then they can shout BOOMER all they want!  All the while wondering what that note said or how much of a tip the waiter got!     Woman Wink

Must be a lot of sensitive posters this morning. I had a post removed because I mentioned duchess Meghan's outfit on a duchess Kate fashion thread. Dumb.

You just answered where Ok Boomer comes from.
