I am on my 3rd week of vegetarian - Nutrisystem.
My skin is breaking out so bad.
I can't think what else might be causing this. Have not changed my cleanser, nor makeup.
Anyone else with issues on this plan?
Thanks!
Jean

@shoppersince1989 Possibly eating processed foods could have encouraged the breakouts. Have you considered a whole foods plant based diet? No more money to nutrisystem...and a very healthy and satisfying lifestyle. There are lots of free information/boards on the internet. Wishing you the very best.

Thank you, I'm thinking that too!
I'm already skipping my next shipment.

@shoppersince1989 Smart move, I'll bet that you clear up! Forks and Knives is offering a free week of meal planning on their website. Good luck!

If you are doing well otherwise with the program, I would go see the Dr.

Hi,
No, not a single breakout for me. I'm also doing the Vegetarian program & just finished my 3rd week.
I chose the Vegetarian plan because 1) I'm not overly fond of meat to begin with & 2) I really dislike the mystery meats in canned/processed foods. So far, so good - I've lost 12 lbs. I have bad knees & needed to relieve the pressure on my knees. I wanted to get myself used to smaller portions than I've been eating, & this has really helped.

I am skeptical that there is a connection and especially that it might be due to processed foods, unless somehow you had previously eaten a processed food-free diet.

Thanks for all the friendly advice.
I'm inspired with "Sweet Serenity", and others, with their transformations.

12 is great! I was at a 6+ loss the first week.
Had a difficult time the 2nd. My husband isn't on this plan.
When he has a day off, he wants to go out for lunch.
Quite the challenge for me.
Keep it up! You are doing great!

I understand what it feels like to be overweight. To want change. To feel uncomfortable inside and out. Removing all processed foods life changing. Mean within few days felt better. Long term results! Inflammation totally gone. Skin largest organ what we eat effects the skin. Experienced toxins, Skin bumps on my arms. No longer case. Best wishes.⚘
