It said 10 degrees outside when I woke up this morning--north NJ.  I hate this super frigid cold but not much I can do about it.  I do get out every day to run a few errands.

I keep the thermostat at 66 indoors.  I am used to this temp.  I wear pants, socks, undershirt and sweater or sweatshirt at home.  It feels cool when I am not moving around so I will use a throw when reading or watching tv.

Yes, it's a little brisk but I don't mind.  And It's a whole lot warmer than it is outside (12)!  The worst of it will be over by the end of February.

I live in New Jersey and keep the thermostat on 68. This morning it was 11 degrees and I went to Shop-Rite for my weekly shopping. I then stopped to get bagels, they say 6-10 inches coming for us ???

We have a feels like temp of -5 right now in my part of Ohio and the real temp is 7.  

We have been using our wood burning stove a lot over the last week or so because it has been so cold.  My DH lights the fire in the afternoon when he gets home from work and then our furnace doesn't kick on until early in the morning.   Even with the furnace set on 72 I still feel chilled in the house.

I'm not crazy about the woodburner because it really messes with my sinuses but I haven't been cold. LOL  We are supposed to be very cold through the weekend but I thought I saw that it was supposed to warm up next week.

It was 20° in Albuquerque this morning.  Snow all over the whole Northern half of the state yesterday except for Albuquerque.  No precip since September and I don't think I got that at my house.  When the hose thaws out, I need to water shrubs.

I have been cold since October, except for Christmas Day when it was 78. I think it has been damp but it can't seem to rain. The dampness is no friend for my arthritis in my hip. DH is always hot but even he has been trying to figure out how to get the house to a comfortable level..we had new windows out in 5 years ago, but even he is wearing a robe over his sweatshirt or sweater most of the day.

@Kachina624  We got about an inch of new snow yesterday.  We were surprised when we opened the windowquilts in the bedroom and saw new snow.  Most of the new has melted but we still have a quite a bit from over the holiday.  Any little bit helps...DW
