She is a class act. I love her love of the law. What an inspiration. We all should find something to love like that, and be able to work with passion at her age.
i love my cat, but he would not help me at any job I tackled. It's all about his next meal. Sigh.

Yeah, I'd have to say the same thing about my cat. He's dieting and is DOWN to 17.8 from 19.1 pounds. He can't really get enthralled about legal issues, etc.

Glad to hear the news!
Anyone that can attend both her own as well as her husband's law school classes at the same time while he is receiving treatment for cancer is made of strong stock. Can't believe she was able to carry the law school load of her and her husband at the same time which allowed her husband to successfully graduate from law school. Wears me out even thinking about it.

good news. i assumed she would be back to work since she was at a big social function in public about a week ago. so maybe she'll be back at oral arguments now and really back on the job.

Justice Ginsberg is very dedicated and tenacious.
I am glad that she is returning to the court and hope that her recovery is complete.

She is soon to be 86. I would like to see someone much younger replace her on the bench. I would like to think that there are some smart young lawyers out there who could fill her shoes. However, clearly she is going nowhere. We are all entitled to our opinions.

How could a smart young lawyer possibly fill a Supreme Court Justice's shoes?

"Young" is relative. A lawyer in his or her mid-40s would have 20 years of experience already as a lawyer. And, Ruth G. had a brilliant legal mind even as a young lawyer. So, why not?
