There was something I wanted to mention. You said you've got a good life insurance policy in case G-d forbid something happens to your husband. I wanted to recommend you make sure you've got something like AFLAC, too. Often the breadwinner might get cancer or another chronic disease and they will still live but not be able to work and require much healthcare.
That's what happens to many people -- they don't plan for that. They assume if something happens, it will be sudden, quck and final. But it's when the breadwinner is unable to work and will likely live on for an extended period of time. The family is left in limbo -- can't collect life insurance, but the breadwinner can't work anymore. That is such DISASTER. I recommend anyone reading this to consider getting something like AFLAC. Unfortunately, sickness can strike anyone at any time.
Please know I'm not trying to be sarcastic nor morbid in my suggestion. I've mentioned before that I'm a cancer survivor and I was lucky because my husband had a good job with good health coverage -- I had to leave my job for a while. If I was single and didn't have any kind of supplemental coverage I'd be out of luck. It's scary to consider, but it's something you need to think about.
