Not the 8th grade graduation I expected!!! Wow!

The graduation was actually pretty......uuuuhhhh....I can't think of a word to describe it actually. Shocking maybe?

The girls looked like hookers or at least most of them. A very few had decent dresses on. I mean the dresses were like tube socks, strapless, short and tight. Most of the girls were too heavy and wore them anyway. And the makeup....Oh my gosh! They had tons on and it wasn't a good look.

I guess the one 8th grade girl thought it was fitting to carry her newborn baby with her down the aisle. Oh my. I mean it is ok that she kept the baby, it is hers and her families decision, but to flaunt it???? What kind of an example is she for the other kids? I'm sure the other girls thought it was "cool".

This is a SMALL rural school with 63 graduates! This is not the big city whatsoever.

I guess I need to get out more.

Oh, one more thing. I was worried about what to wear and kind of "cleaned up". Why in the world did I worry? People looked like they came in from their gardening and went on the to graduation.
