I much prefer the ProForums board now.  I will continue coming here for a while, but hope people don't leave the ProForums board because of this.  We have more freedom there to discuss what we want to, although I hope political discussions will not be allowed.

A lot of work was done by quite a few people to set up the new boards, and I hope we will support their efforts.

@Nicknack    Check out the new  Rules and Regulations posted today on the new Pro board, it was stated NO Political posts will be  allowed.

@NickNack

I agree with you.  Someone on the other board likened it to taking back a boyfriend who had broken up with you.  Then he comes crawling back... I'll be on the Proforums board and will just check in here to see what's going on with this dog and pony show.

Great news.  My question for those who joined the other board.  How do you UNJOIN it?  I just want to make sure that any info I gave them is erased.  I actually only got half way and did not get as far as the JOIN but the information half way could be a problem.  Not sure.  Anyone know?

It's easy.  Go into your "profile" Then "edit profile"   Then "privacy" .scroll down and delete.

@Carmie, I just want to thank you for all your efforts over the past few days. I find the Proboards site refreshing and it clearly shows how much work you and the team put into it. I hope you don't decide to leave there. I really appreciate having that site to visit .....Heart

This is confusing??  Also, I don't think you understand most of us are not interested in Face Book?

@BalletBabe   Please remove my quote from your post.  I made an edit.

Thank you.

It won't let me remove it.

I plan to visit both boards, as I know a lot of work went into setting up Proboards, and I think you can visit both.

Nope, I won't fall for them keeping the forums, until I see it myself.

Folks have been moving on, when such an insulting decision was made to disband such a long standing forum.

We're talking decades of visits for many here. Integral members of the Q community, often cheering for them and purchasing. There are some serious defenders of the Q here.

Then, goodbye, with a banner!  It's analogous to a partner of 20 years asking for a divorce through a text message.

It will affect trust going forward, even if they do keep the forums.
