I thought others here might also enjoy seeing photos of the Northern Lights.
From a BBC report:
"A severe geomagnetic storm caused rare sightings of the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, over Wales on Tuesday night.
A magnetic storm - rated as "severe" - was caused by two pulses of electro-magnetic energy which left the sun.
They are unusual in Wales with perhaps no more than one or two sightings every 11 years."
Photos to follow.

My mother was from Western Pennsylvania. She remembered seeing them as a child. I have never seen them in NJ. Pictures are very beautiful.

She was very lucky, I don't think that happens often in the US
My husband and I saw them once, it's pretty amazing.
