I know some of you may have read this series but if you haven't I highly recommend her Chesapeake series of three books. I loved them. The four books are: Sea Swept, Rising Tides, Inner Harbor and Chesapeake Blue. I loved the characters and the mix of suspense and romance.

I remember that series and it was one of my favorites. Did she also set a series in Alaska? I recall a series where some brothers are looking for wives.

I agree with you, Susiegirl2, this was a very good series from Nora Roberts.

What did you all think of Whiskey Beach ? I thought it one of her best in her regular writings of late.

I don't know about the Alaska series. I haven't read Whiskey Beach yet but I hope to soon. I wish she would do a sequel to the Chesapeake series with the adult kids of the main characters.

I thought "WHISKEY BEACH" was pretty good, but her stand-alone novel from 2012, "THE WITNESS" was great. She has a new stand-alone novel coming out in April, called "THE COLLECTOR". Her bridal quartet was good too. I don't like her paranormal novels, but I LOVE her futuristic detective series, the "In Death" novels.

I think you're referring to the ""Midnight Sons"" series by Debbie Macomber.

I read the Witness and I loved it. In the back they had an excerpt from The Collector and I like how that one started. Today in the mail I got the Gallaghers of Ardmore trilogy. I can't wait to start them. I'm sure they'll be great.

I also enjoyed The Witness. I loved The Gallaghers of Ardmore trilogy and my favorite was her Irish Born Trilogy which I have read 5, maybe 6, times.
