Hi ShowMe.....wanted to let you know that I did try one of the Irish sweaters. I already received it as it was not new and while I was able to wear merino wool without itching, it was not flattering and just cut too big. Oh well....it least I know now not to order those anymore. I asked my husband's opinion and he said, well.....it looks very warm.

QVC has offered these 100% merino wool sweaters every St Paddy's day since they started them!

I kind of like that basketweave baker that they showed yesterday morning on David's show but I really don't need any more bakers. I like that they have one without the shamrocks on it.
I am very interested.....the Irish make some very beautiful things......and have to say that everything I have ever purchased made in Ireland I have been very pleased with......
I purchased that baketweave baker last night when presented. I like the shamrocks....as I have the basketweave tea service I received from my sister when she went to Ireland. She gave me a Belleek Christmas that year.
I hope you love the baker! If I could have, in any way, justified it I would have gotten the one without the shamrocks. I love the understated nature of the basketweave design and find it very attractive. But I'm up to my armpits in my older Pyroceram Corning Ware French White and Black, plus I have several pieces of Fiesta and Le Creuset. *sigh* I shall abstain, but I hope you love yours! Look forward to hearing about it.

Hey, if you on the fence about ordering the TSV, they will be making their final presentation in a little bit........it is really a beautiful sweater.

I hope I do too. I too have a number of Corning Ware pieces I have owned since 1961.....and through the years.......but since I collect Belleek, thought this would be a nice piece that I could use on small casseroles......

I have the baker Showme, and it's one of my favorite pieces. It performs beautifully and cleans up like a breeze. I have the oval covered piece as well and between those two pieces, I could pretty much toss everything I have cause I only use the other stuff if I'm making more than can be done in my 2 belleek pieces.

I admire the Irish sweaters from afar. I can't wear wool. Even Merino. It itches me terribly and our season for wool is way too short here. This year we had pretty much no days cold enough for a heavy wool sweater.
I'm Irish and although I don't watch all day, it's nice they have these shows on St Pat's Day. I have picked up a couple of nice jewelry pieces. Wearing a Connemara marble shamrock necklace right now!
