Kat has an amazing voice, but I think she'll be gone. Her hair, makeup, & clothing are just hard to look at (& I think she's cute). For some reason, it just irritates me to watch her perform.

I haven't watched Idol in years, & tuned in for 1 show last week. I couldn't take it after watching The Voice! And, btw, it's obvious how Idol is trying to incorporate ideas from The Voice into their format. I really like the judges, but the contestants....yikes.

Yes to your whole post. I tried for several weeks to watch AI after taking a break for several years and the talent is just no where near what The Voice gets.

There are zero similarities between the voice and idol...other than they are both singing competition....what ideas have they tried to incorporate from the voice?

Idol has now allowed the judges to be more "playful", just like Voice. And now Ryan comes off the stage & interacts. I haven't seen Idol in a while, & it has changed in that manner. I don't blame them....thats a huge part of The Voice's appeal.

Christina is just boring. Kat doesn't appeal to me, either.

I think overall Kristen deserves the win; she really sings from the heart.

I guess you never watched Idol in the beginning and all the bantering and playfulness between Paula and Simon.....that was long before the Voice ...... There was also great chemistry with Steven Tyler/Jlo.....I'm not sure about the weird stuff with Harry...he says some odd things to Jlo and Keith....Ryan has always interacted.

Jake is my favorite but I wouldn't be disappointed at all to see Kristen take the whole thing. I think she definitely has a future in country music.

I never did like watching AI. I would sometimes watch when it got close to the end and they were picking the final winner. AFter I saw Simon tell a contestant he was ugly and looked like something that crawled out of the jungle that was it for me. I never watched it again.

Simon could be a real jerk. I haven't tuned into AI since David Cook won (I wanted him to win). The judges on The Voice are just more easier to watch.
