No Longer have to sign in anymore on these Forums?

Is this new? I use to have to sign in daily several times a day... now we are just permanently signed in??? Good thing or bad?

I noticed this also. I'm afraid to try to "sign out" lest I have to change my nic to get back in.

@SeaMaiden Different each time I attempt to sign in. Sometimes I can't get on, sometimes it take 5/6 tries, and sometimes it stays on permanently for a couple of days. I'm sure, in time, it will get resolved. In the meantime, I have no predetermined expectation of what will happen when I attempt to sign on.

@SeaMaiden Yes, it's like we're locked in one of those mystery rooms and we can't solve the case. There's no escape.

I've tried all the mystery clues ( of brighter minds here) and nothing works to stay signed out.

I had to resign in this morning but haven't had too since. I just take it as it comes. Resigning in each time doesn't really bother me one way or the other. Takes 2 secounds out of my very NON busy life so its all good.

I have a feeling that the sign in is purposely that way until the real problem is resolved.

It has not been too much of an inconvenience for me thus far, so I do not think it is a bad thing; though others have experienced greater frustration with the sign-in process.😐

I've always stayed signed in but their system kicks me off. I still have to sign in when I want to access the forums.

If I clear my history every night (which I normally do), that logs me out. I then have to sign back in the next day (which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't).

Apparently this doesn't work for everyone though. I'm wondering if it depends on your browser.

@SeaMaiden I noticed this yesterday. I shut my tablet off at night, when I opened it up this morning I was signed in. I don't know what to think about this.
