Come on by and sit for a chat. Hopefully the weather is getting nicer for everyone so can do that without any problems. Am planting some flowers so they shoujld be blooming before long.
Have brought along a few umbrellas as we are having some drizzly rain - not much, but some.
For sure I have a canopy right now and some great comfy chairs and hot coffee and bagels and cream cheese. Stop on by and bring some more food. Lately we have been short on food and that use to be a biggie at this "rest stop".
Found another ground squirrel hole in my back lawn yesterday - gophers and now ground squirrels are driving this old lady crazy - well, a tad more than usual that is. LOL.
Stop by and say hello - what's going on in your world?
Have a great day everyone.

Hi ladies. I'm finally feeling a bit more like posting, but only felt like doing a little speed reading to catch up so am sure I've missed a lot.
Freddie, hope you were out of the quake area.
Bird Mama thanks for the beautiful flowers.
Epi, I so hope your surgery was successful.
We had electricians here yesterday replacing two way plugs with three way plugs and installing new light fixtures. One over the kitchen sink and one in the living room. There is a matching one in the dining area of the room, but sadly one of the arms was broken so was not able to be installed and it's been a while since we bought it so don't know what if anything can be done, but it needs to match.
Most of my side effects from the drug have dissipated, but I'm still having great difficulity breathing and the doctor doesn't seem to know what else to do for me and I'm not happy about that, but not much else I can do. I've been to other specialists and I think this one is one of the best.
Happy Tuesday all. Sue

Queen Sue - am sooooooooo glad to see you here. That is great you are feeling better but also wish you could get some relief with your breathing problems - that is indeed miserable.
Been busy this morning - I managed to get the mattress off the bed, remove the skirt over the springs AND even got the Springs turned without destroying everything in it's path. Got a tad too close to the ceiling fan a couple times but "we" (meaning me and the Springs) managed to not destroy it. LOL. When the skirt gets dry will put it on and the next dangerous step - for things in the room, will be to turn the matress - that will be very easy compared to the Springs. Then put the washed and dried mattress cover on, clean sheets and then will be ready for bed. LOL.
Miss Blackie's hairs were all over the Springs and I cannot figure that out - had to vacuum them like crazy. Cannot figure it out as there is a skirt/cover over it, a mattress and cover and sheets, etc so how on earth did all that black fur get down there. That skirt was put on last summer so it wasn't like it had been there for years. Miss Blackie's fur is everywhere except on her body. She periodically pulls her fur and must admit she is really weird looking when she does that. Thought my brother would have a hissy fit when he saw her a couple weeks ago. I told him that is what happens from time to time and even the Vets do not have an answer - she has allergies obviously. But just picture a solid black cat who is structured very small but looks like a ball as she gains weight and I call her Miss Blubber Belly. Then remove in your mind all her fur underneath, on her back legs and under her front legs. She would be a good cat to put in horror movies - but I love her.
We had rain the past two nights - not a lot but it has helped - more suppose to come laster today. Was suppose to get my lawn mowed as my trash pickup is tomorrow but it is too wet so Brian could not get it done - impossible.
Hope all have a great day - please stop by and visit.

Hi Everyone..........I thought I would drop by to say hello. It sure is good to see this thread still going. I brought along some nice warm cinnamon buns.
I used to post as NH lady years back. It sure was a long winter this year. me who loves winter and snow has had enough. Yesterday we reached 61 and I actually shed my down coat. I hope the warmer temps are here to stay. The snow is still melting but should be completely gone soon.
My husband and I have been busy fixing up a house that we bought across the road from us that had a fire in it. The house was built in 1783 and is a total gut job except for the fireplaces and the wide plank floors. It sure has kept us busy and still is. We hope to sell it when completed.
Queen Sue it is good to see you and I hope that you feel better soon.
Hi bird mama..........cute pic of the squirrel. WE have a ton of them at our bird feeders. It is almost time to take the feeders down because of the bears coming out of hibernation.
Hi Winifred..........I too would love to know how pet hair gets past all the stuff we put on our beds. I sure do remember that. Nice hearing that you planted flowers....soon they will be blooming and looking oh so pretty. Now that the ground is thawing the squirrels dug up all my hyacinth bulbs that we planted last Fall. Sorry that you too are having troubles with them.
Take care everyone and have a nice day!!!

Nice to see old friends visiting the back fence. It's sunny here, but windy. I need to go to the Pet Supplies Plus for bird food and then visit the watch place to have a battery replaced. It's in the 30's and I am sitting here debating whether or not to wear a hat (lol).
I'm leaving some Panera goodies and coffee

Epi, sure hope you are on the mend - no fun getting sick and then getting sick and/or having a health issue one after another. No fun at all!!!
Luvsbulldogs, I do recall you once posted as NH lady. I remember the time - a long time ago now, when most of us had trouble with our nicks and had to change. For some weird reason I survived them all. I did take a post on the hits however, as they, wipe them out from time to time and then made the GREAT change as to changing the real time we started on the boards. Yours and mine were redone for 2004.
Not feeling the best this morning - I was afraid I was coming down with something so yesterday headed to Urgent Care. Did NOT feel up to the drive there but figured I needed it - I did. I have COPD and a myriad of other lung related problems so I got oxygen, breathing treatment, two shots and antibiotics. Not feeling a whole lot better but the sore throat is calming down a bit. Munched on some veggie crackers this morning - I usually have oatmeal but just did not want it. Oh well, it always can be worse.
Can you all believe we are suppose to get to 87 today and then 90 tomorrow and then the temps drop again. Up and down temps are difficult to deal with. Hope everyone is finished with snow by now.
Bird Mama, am grabbing a cinnamon bun for later - many thanks!!!
Hope all have a great day!

Winifred, how are you feeling? Any better? It's starting to warm up a bit here - expecting 60's, with like 30 MPH winds (good grief).
Here's some fruit (tray looks bigger than it is )

Still not feeling great PLUS had to take my pc in Monday morning - jsut got it back.
Been way too hot out here - in the 90s and it is very muggy.
Going to make this short as the energy level ain't here. Take care everyone. Where is everyone.
