With all the baseball fans here, I thought there would be one.

Okay, I'll start.

The anthem was terrible.

The jets were fantastic...as usual.

And teachers are NOT the most important people in a child's life. Ask them...teachers and children. See what they say.

Now...go AL!!

Oh yeah...Jeter looks old. Maybe it's just without the hat.

Well, he is 40. He'll be missed when he retires - Such a good guy.

Re: No All-Star Game thread?

I got all misty eyed watching DJ be introduced and step up to the plate to lead off for the AL. I watched him grow up and know how much hard work and sacrifice, by both him and his family, went into making his dream come true. It's hard to believe his amazing ride is nearly over.

Are you the poster who used to work with his Mom? So cute how you said he and his sister would ask politely if they could have a candy from the bowl on your desk.

He's always been such a good role model, on and off the field.

Yup, that would be me. I highly doubt that he would recognize me if he saw me now though. His mom certainly would, but I don't think DJ or Sharlee would.

Have you seen the Re2pect ad from Nike? His family is in it.
