My nightmare sandwich would include head cheese (flesh from the head of a calf or pig  encased in aspic) as a filling.  I've seen it offered on menus in Wisconsin.

Oh ew.  Why exactly would someone eat that?

I would definitely give Giada's sandwich a try.  It sounds delicious.

I highly doubt she actually eats that.  LOL

I suspect the same. She is too rail thin to be eating much of what she cooks. It’s all really fattening stuff. Many years ago she used to be very large, so it’s not her “good genes” keeping her thin.

I've never seen information or pictures that Giada was ever "Very large".

I would definitely try it and think I would like it.  Peanut butter and jelly is good.   People eat bacon and eggs with toast with jelly.  Peanut butter and bacon sandwiches are really good.  The grated parm would  complement the butter on the bread and bacon.  I think the combo would be excellent in taste.

I agree. I think the sweet jelly is needed to counteract all the saltiness.

I'd give it a try. Might substitute another cheese, like a mellow smoked edam.

She says she eats triscuit with rosemary and olive oil for breakfast with cheese or something. I saw an article where she said what she eats each day...it was pretty strange in my opinion and she is really into olive oil.
