Next year, I'm giving cash.

I love to buy just the right gifts for my family. But lately, I'm not with my DD when they are opened. My DD always calls me to thank me, but it's not the same thing as having them opened right in front of you. I know she loved my gifts (we celebrated Hanukkah), but there's got to be a better way. So, with her getting married next year, I think DH and I will give them cash to get something nice for their home, or anything they want to spend it on. What do you think? There has to be some of you in the same situation. Also, so I won't get any mean responses, if we plan on being together, the gifts are on. : )

School is out. Not soon enough. I had FIVE kiddos out last Friday, and now I'm working on cold. We needed to air out the building. Is there a lot of sickness in your area?
