I remember when I was on vacation I would mentally count the days to when I had to go back to work. I dreaded returning to work....

Enjoy your time off!

I'm retired, so every day is a vacation, and I admit that I often fail to appreciate the gift that it is. 

I remember when I was working and would take a few days off to head to the beach. My parents would fetch me from a midnight flight into the closest airport, and before my mom would give me a hug, I had to hand over my company cell phone, my watch and my briefcase. I got them back on the way back to the airport.
