Since it has happened in so many States, I'm thinking that the rotisserie chickens were cooked in one single location, salads made and then shipped out to those particular stores.  

 

eta: Whole Foods, while not a big box store, ships in many types of salads some of which end up as a selection in their salad bar giving one the impression they were made there.  I have asked and told no, they were shipped in from one single location.

As this just impacts their chicken salad I would imagine it was either the onions or celery that introduced the e-coli into the food product.

 

It is my understanding that their rotisserie chickens are not considered a part of this recall at this time.
