I use Uber occasionally when I'm out of town and always give a cash tip.

Just be advised, Uber can get kind of pricey. I used their estimator to see what a trip to a doctor's office that's 23 miles away would cost and it came in at over $35 each way. Add in the 10%-25% tip that's suggested and you're looking at $80 or so.

I agree - being in the service industry, people work for tips. Even a small one is appreciated.
