Hi folks, I moved to my own thread to not get mired down in the bird dirt thread.

Staying up for awhile, not much to talk about so need some suggestions here.

Lost my dog recently and something about turning off the light at night triggers a lot of memories and I cry. So I stay up til I'm really drowsy.

I'll pour some drinks, non alcoholic too if you prefer and let's just chat.

Let me share some words that the sister of Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent ( Cdn soldier killed last week) said at his funeral service today.

"Go back home, look at people who contribute to your happiness, to your life, and have gratitude for the love they give you."

I am about to take her words to heart and head to bed with my husband.

However, I want to express to you my sadness at the loss of your beloved dog. May memories sustain you.

I'm about to retire for the night -- even though we get the extra hour, lol -- but just wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss of your dog. It's never easy.

Ah thanks so much, I really miss that little dog. She was special needs and it was a joy for me to care for her.

I'm so sorry about your loss. Hugs to you. I was just having a little time with my baby (my cat) and it really is special to have a pet in our lives.

I have been reading more lately and need to get back to my book soon (have a book club meeting Tues) but I'll be online for a bit longer.
