Just saw the Hot Wheels stamps.

How many of those cars DS had!  (And still does)

Plus they were a big thing with DH and grandson when he was little.  Always had to get a new one when the two of them would be out and about.

@Cakers3 I have these cool stamps and hate to use them.20190410_213646.jpg

@threecees   I might get a sheet for memory sake.

We don't mail very much anymore but I do like the variety of stamps that are offered.

DH doesn't get it.  A stamp is a stamp.   LOL

I love all the "different" stamps.  Floral, personalities, hearts, etc.  and the stamps for various holidays.   One doctor I went to years ago had framed sheets of various portrait stamps and had that on the walls of his office.  It was nice to see.  I like the stamps of people in show business, politics, etc.

I still have 2 sheets of Elvis and don't know what to do with them.I will have to add

21 cents to each stamp or save them even longer as memorabilia.20190110_193456.jpg

Think it’s nice to honor those who have dedicated their life to public service.

Unrelated, still want to pick up some of the Marvin Gaye stamps that came out last week.

I like the stamp picture of president Bush.

I had to get stamps yesterday, they are not a new release I don't think, but the guy gave me cactus stamps. Very beautiful.

@threecees   About the Elvis stamps so do I LOL!  I had a "burning love" to buy those when they came out years ago, and never could bring myself to use them, thinking they'd increase in value.

To all: when I was a girl, stamp collecting was a very popular hobby.  I had a stamp book collection and most of my friends did as well. Perhaps that's why I still love stamps to this day and, even though I stockpile before postage goes up, there are always some I can't resist buying at the higher postage, even though I have a stockpile.  I just love stamps!   My mother did also, and always noticed what stamp was on mail, as do I to this day (well cards and personal mail, not commercial mail).
