A French company has a new line of lingerie, called "Loungerie", that is for young girls, as young as 4 years old! The models for the line are very young girls wearing heavy makeup and bras and panties, and posing in very provocative poses!
This follows the 10 year old model on the cover of French Vogue, dressed in extremely provocative attire and wearing heavy makeup. There was an outrage about that cover, and other pictures in the magazine.
What is going on now? Here, we have the "Toddlers and Tiaras" show, and very skimpy clothing for young children to wear. I find this really troubling and can't understand why parents allow this sort of thing to take place now.
Whatever happened to childhood? To innocence? To looking like children? What are we doing to our young children nowadays? This really creeps me out.
