If it is, I was surprised.  I happen to look at my weather.  And shocked to see the temps.  100F tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday.  After that it'll be in the 90's the rest of week with maybe thunderstorms each day through Saturday.  The 90's will be courtesy of being cloudy and overcast I bet.  Another heat wave for you?

@songbird

The forecaster on the news here did say that we are in for a heat wave and that this would be the hottest weather of the summer!

Kinda NOT fall yet!

@LTT1  I only pay attention to the weather if it looks like rain.  I tell you I was shocked!  I had no idea it would be that hot. I better start paying more attention....

I'm in Arizona and it's been nothing but a heat wave since June. Actually we are finally under 100 degrees for the next few days.

It has been in the 90s for the past week or so here in Colorado Springs. No rain. Just hot and windy. Usually it's in the mid to upper 80s this time of the year.

I'm happy, thrilled that this coming to be in the high high 80s to low 90s.  Some showers late in the week but still hot temperatures.  Summer isn't going anywhere anytime soon.  We're taking the grand kids to the beach on Wednesday.  They start school on Thursday.  I'm in MA, just south of Boston.

I think that it's a little too hot all over for everyone.

If you live where it can normally be rather hot at this time of year, then it's trending hotter right now.

If you live where the temps. are normally hot but not too hot, like where I'm at in Wisconsin, then it's hotter than normal right now for a few days.

We're having a few days in the low 90's and then the temps. will drop again back into the low 80's and upper 70's. Those temps. are more normal for us as we head into Autumn. It can stay in the 70's into October here. That's not unusual for us.

I'm keeping all of you in my thoughts that live in hot areas where you haven't had much of a break regarding the temps. I'm hoping that things will change for you soon. Heart

Growing up my birthday (in a week) was usually cool --Fall like temps. That is what I like.

We are expecting rather warm temps for this time of year but hopefully by next week Fall will be in coming.

I do not do well under Hot weather. But I guess that not many do.

I didn't know it was "new".  It has besieged the Southwest since June with never a day of relief.  I also have had no measurable rainfall since sometime in the Spring....can't remember when.  Maybe a total of 2.5" of precip including snow in the past year.
