Re: New from Driscoll's Rose strawberries

@cherry   I still haven't seen the rose strawberries yet but today we saw these at market-pink lemonade blueberries.

Image result for pink lemonade blueberry taste

The price was high so we didn't try them.

I've never heard of these but supposedly they are sweet tasting.

@cherry

I've seen the cotton candy grapes at market.

I've bought Tangelos here and there.

Peacotums sound really interesting.

Are they genetically modified?I don’t like buying into gmo food....try to avoid it as our bodies can’t always process the stuff. That is where the wheat problem has arisen and why many have problems digesting it.

@dex   Driscoll's does not produce GMO berries, either organic or non-organic according to their website.

Re: New from Driscoll's Rose strawberries

Sprouts had samples of the cotton candy grapes....yuk. Sickening sweet but no real flavor. Not a fan.
Tangelos are my favorite citrus but can’t find them very often anymore.
The rose strawberries sound good but haven’t seen them anywhere yet.

Re: New from Driscoll's Rose strawberries

It looks like the rose strawberries will only be available on the east coast in Wegman's and Fresh Direct.

Whole Foods in Northern California will have them, too.

Same for the rose raspberries.

Only available from June-Sept.

From the Driscoll's website.
