Re: New York, NY Tourism TV Ad

I haven't seen the ad, and not sure it will run in my neck of the woods.

I've seen the Rockettes at Radio City and it is a wonderful show.  Everyone should go see it if they have the opportunity.  Won't be disappointed, and Radio City is a grand theater - I don't think there is a bad seat in the house.

Does anyone know who sings the New York, NY song in one of the NYC tourist ads?

@Vivian  I don't know who sang it in the commercial but Frank Sinatra or Liza Minnelli IMO are the only ones who do it justice.  I get chills every time I hear either one.

Liza introduced the song in the 1977 film New York New York and it was amazing.

@Vivian  I googled your question and couldn't find the answer. It will show up eventually -- always does.

Last week I looked up the singer in the NJM insurance ad. "When you're in a fender bender, here's a name to remember: NJM" He is Corn 'Mo, quite a talent.

I searched again last night and I think (still not 100% sure) the singer in the NYC tourism ad is Lady Gaga.

Re: New York, NY Tourism TV Ad

I have seen the Rockettes many times and it never gets old. Went with my Mom when I was a kid every year. When my daughters were young through their teens, we took them every year.
