Maybe. I need to know more. I shop both online and in person at Target.

@bikerbabe

I too am a Target shopper and I can share with you what I remember hearing on the news last night.

Membership will buy you SAME DAY shipping on orders over $35 through Shipt (which is owned by Target). The normal cost for membership will be $99 a year but there will be an initial offering of $49 a year.

I'm sure there will be other member perks, but I don't recall as I am not planning on joining. I live so close to a neighborhood Target I can order online and within 2 hours I can either go in the store to pick up or they will run it out to my car.

I shop at Target a lot (but not for groceries) and they are literally 2 miles from my house. I'm not paying them to do same day delivery for me.  I'll stick with the free circle deals and continue to shop in person.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Target is a couple of miles from me, and I don't usually shop there for groceries.  I don't need grocery delivery services either.  This seems like a good deal for those that need grocery delivery services though.  I will continue to use my Red Card and their Target Circle program.  This is a completely optional program.

Re: New Target Membership Programs

I have a Target nearby, but honestly, I only go in maybe 4X/year, so it's a pass for me.  I'm not even sure what this Circle thing is people are talking about.  I do have their red card though.

Re: New Target Membership Programs

Like Walmart+ and Amazon Prime, it's a good program for those who don't have any access to transportation and must get things delivered.

And the $49 deal works for most people with low incomes, or those who are on an extremely-tight budget.

Found out that although the membership fee can't be billed monthly (like with Amazon and Walmart), 'Target Circle 360' is offered to non-RedCard holders as well.

Re: New Target Membership Programs

I shopped only once there and it was online.  No I didn't know about Target and it's redcard, etc.  The stores are far away from me and I rarely need anything I can get closer and cheaper

Re: New Target Membership Programs

I don't pay for the"honor" of spending my money in any store.

The nearest Target here is over 100 miles away...so there would never be "same day" delivery( can't even get a pizza delivered)..I do order a lot from them( of course not fresh items) and most things arrive in 2-3 days via Fed-x

Re: New Target Membership Programs

My family shops at Target, I got the email about the new program  but I'm not sure this would benefit us to join any more than the Walmart one would.
