A couple times posters have referenced the idea that if you are rich you should be able to have personal trainers, etc. I am sure they have tried all that. I feel chronic weight issues have deeper issues. Sometimes and all the money in the world cannot make you thin, if you put too much food in your mouth. If that were true Christina Onassis would have been thin. So would Kirsty Alley, Valerie Bertanelli. Aretha Franklin and many others who have weight issues. These women struggle hard. Who in their right mind would want all the public scrutiny about their weight.

I think prepackaged meals can give one a kick start. However, the REAL hard work begins after you loose the weight and return to normal eating.

I think everyone who is over weight knows what is healthy, they know how to eat. It is sticking to it, with drive determination and persistence. It is a daily battle that never ends as long as you live and breathe.

That said, Marie's commercial is awful I think she reached a real low. Her Mom has been gone a while. Marie has been a spokeswomen for years, why bring that up? Yuck!

She referenced her mom because her mom warned her that being obese would end up giving Marie health problems. I think when she brought up her mom she was just saying that when she lost her, she realized the importance of having good health (the dangers of obesity) and she used Nutri-System to achieve her goals.

I mute Marie every time she comes on. She is the biggest phony. When on DWTS, Maks said she didn't eat. Maybe she took wee bites of NS. After Dancing, she worked in Vegas for years. I truly doubt she eats NS, maybe a breakfast bar or something small just so she won't be lying. I still don't trust her.
