A new scam is out there.  Scammers are asking people to send in the old cards to them or asking for money to provide the new card info before the card is mailed.  Don't fall for it.

REALLY! Honestly what will these low lifes come up with next! Sending money is absurd. Hope that no one is that gullible in this day and age with so many scams out there. Thank you for the alert.

@pommom  Unfortunately all it takes is one person to fall for the scam.  Once it works, all bets are off although I would not refer to those who fall for it "idiots".

Scams can only work, obviously, if people  fall for them.  There will always be that first person to fall for it; once it works for even just one person the scammers know they have hit a jackpot.

Is your Medicare number still your SSN with a letter after it?

If it is, they really do need to change that.

@CelticCrafter  They are.  New cards are being issued this year-April, I believe.
