Is anyone tuning in?  I think it's called "Indian Summers" or something like that.  Starts tonight.

We have it set to record late at night.   Then we watch several at a time during the time we both want to watch them.  Looks like it is going to be a good program.

Shoekitty:  I am glad you posted this because I have been having the same problem and I thought it was just me.  I really enjoy the British shows but they are very hard to hear and because of that I find it hard to last the full show.

Sure-when you watch your recording, just put on your CC. I do this every day for my soap (don't want to miss a word Smiley Wink) I didn't find it too bloody, just too much s e x.

Re: New Masterpiece Theatre Series

I watched an hour of it last night and like others I could not hear or understand a lot of the dialog.   I turned it off.  It is the kind of series that is too violent and too heavy to be entertaining to me.  Someone posted it was like Downton Abbey in India.  It is nothing like Downton Abbey.

Re: New Masterpiece Theatre Series

I was looking forward to this show and maybe didn't give it enough of a chance

Turned off after 45 mins. It was so hard to hear and understand them speaking and it was not pleasant or entertaining, so had to ask myself why I was bothering.

I was referring to the storylines of the different social/economic classes.

I don't have trouble with the dialogue or the sound.  Thus far the story seems like it will be predictable.  I'll give it another try or two.

I did not make it past 30 minutes.  I wanted to like it.
