Kirsten impossible. while watching a swimsuit presentation she kept going on and on swimsuit was made for her. Before you know presentation is over no mention of pertinent information. Ugh! Then her yoga moves. Enough!

Edited-

Kirsten is not a new host. No longer watch anything she presents. Annoying host! Is understatement. She is hands down unwatchable. No one tops her.

Kirsten and some others are on my 'do not watch' list!!  She makes every presentation about herself!!  I will not watch any show she hosts....

I find I don't relate well to many of the newer hosts.

The way some of them use their vocabulary to describe items I find off kilter or odd.

It seems like a personal spin or interpretation is being expressed rather than a sales presentation.

I absolutely agree, in most cases.  One or two are adequate to good.  Several are quite terrible.

With the shutdown of BeautyIQ there are clearly too many hosts running around.

Will another Q themed channel take Beauty IQ's place?

I think QVC should have “rolled out” the new hosts more slowly instead of one massive dump. I have no idea who these people are and I prefer more familiarity with a host which is harder to do with so many at once.

Another customer in complete agreement with this new hosting change. My favorite show..Logo by Lori. My favorite host with Lori is Amy. Shawn is terrible hosting this show,,why would you belt or tie one of Lori’s flowing, sheer, lace tops...looks awful. I have hundreds of Lori’s clothes. I now hate watching the show with Shawn...please change your scheduling back to where it was.

The Beauty IQ channel will be running  all repeats from Q1 and Q2, at least for the time being.

@dmod nj   Both Courtney and Elisa stated that QVC is starting a beauty "digital experience," but I have no idea what that means.  I don't think they do either since they used the exact same words in their separate explanations about the channel, with no explanation.

Beauty iQ ended mid-week, they didn't even wait until Friday night to announce the last show.  It all just seems so strange and bad planning.

Someone wisely noted that with 6 new hosts vying for the limited early morning time slots they may not get enough on air time to dramatically improve.

Plus, Kristine Zell and Cathy Pedrayes are still showing up in these time slots, meaning even less on air opportunities for the new 6.

Not a good situation all around for hosts, old and new.

That "training period" excuse doesn't just hold up any longer for me.

They had 4 months behind the scenes training, (doing what, I often wonder) time on-air with a seasoned host and have been solo for almost 3 months.

Times up!  Q just, sometimes, makes very lousy decisions.

@Johnnyeager  You hit the nail on the head about Q making lousy decisions! You have to wonder...What Were They Thinking?!!

Why don't we give these new hosts some time. I remember when Shawn started (as an example). I was not a fan of all her clever little phrases - it drove me crazy. However, over time, she calmed down, the cleverness calmed down, we came to see her real personality, and she became a pleasure to watch. The hosting job is a very difficult job and the new hosts are nervous and sometimes forget that their focus needs to be on educating us about the product, not telling us stories about their lives. I think the personal stories are told out of nervousness to fill the time. I know I would have a hard time talking, for the amount of time they have to talk, about individual products.

It seems that every time we have a batch of new hosts, as soon as they have been on their own for a few months, the complaints start. How would you feel if you had just started a new job and needed to learn several computer programs as well as how the company wanted you to do your job and you had someone looking over your shoulder every single minute and reciting to you what you are doing wrong on a daily basis. That would be unnerving for me and I would probably quit because I hate to be micro-managed. Maybe we could be a little more patient and give the new hosts some time to become comfortable in their own skin while doing this difficult job.Smiley Happy

@RealtyGal2, I actually think the opposite is true with Shawn.  When she first started, I really enjoyed her.  She didn't make up words or use cutesy phrases.  She was more calm and grounded and dressed very professionally.  Her presentations gave important product information that one needs to buy via tv.

Once she settled it and moved into what seemed to be Q's golden girl, she started making up words, her entire way of dressing totally changed, her sales style became different and less information was given about items and it became the SK Show all the time.  I saw a drastic change and not for the better.
