I'd love to develop a new hobby in 2016.  Have you ever picked up a new hobby?  What do you enjoy?

I have a time consuming job and travel a lot for work.  I like to cook, read and walk for exercise.  I want to have more fun in my weekly routine!

Have you tried adult coloring books?  They're very popular right now and don't require a huge investment, in case it's not your thing.

Since you like to walk for exercise, how about volunteering to walk dogs at your local Humane Society, 1-2 days a week?

The dogs just love it!

Adult coloring is a lot of fun, very relaxing, and if you travel a lot it's easy to carry it along.  Or have you thought of knitting or crocheting?  That's portable too.  There are many helpful videos on yarnwork, and local yarn shops will usually help as well.

I like the hobbies or interests I have - just wish there was more time to do them.  Best to all in 2016!

My hobbies tend to become obsessions.  I started raising bromeliads when I lived in Houston and ended up with 250 varieties and a big greenhouse in the backyard.  Took up horseback riding and had about 6 horses and one that gave birth to twins.  It goes on and on....

Over the years I have tried different hobbies but have always gone back to what I love most, sewing, quilting and cross stitching.

Often I will see something I think I would like to try and immediately talk myself out of it because I know I love working with fabric and thread.
