Re: New Gain detergent commercial....

I just saw it this morning.  I laughed.

Just 2 kids playing around.  And it gets the message across.

The horror over this is amusing.

I forget we’re in a micro-bubble environment of a closed forum.

After reading many of these responses, I felt like I was being

’gaslighted’, so I happy I’m not the only one who maintains the

I thought it was a good commercial.  A little "out there" perhaps, but I won't forget the point it was trying to make.

Re: New Gain detergent commercial....

So..........after all is said and done..........how many here are running out to buy this product based on this commercial?

We get it about getting attention and the discussion-but in the end how many consumers are persuaded to buy the product based on a clean-smelling jock strap of all things.

We get the message-duh.  It's how much the message will encourage people to buy Gain.

Oh, geez, Cakers, we're not here to develop their advertising blitz.

I already have a laundry soap that I've used forever and have no plans to change, no matter what sort of commercial is used to lure me in.

Commercials for anything rarely sway me one way or the other.

Re: New Gain detergent commercial....

I bet there are some who might look at a bottle of GAIN on the grocerr shelf, if they are thinking of changing detergents, and think, "oh, yeah, maybe I'll try that, I just saw that funny commercial".

Unless they're just too 'adult' to think that.

Re: New Gain detergent commercial....

I sometimes wonder what age group is coming up with commercials.  Many, like this one, make me think boys about 10 are in charge.  It sure doesn't want to make me buy their product.
