Re: New Gain detergent commercial....

Kids are not going to run out and buy Gain based on this commercial.

Not all kids would appreciate this type of "humor", either.  SOME may, SOME may not.

It's just a gross commercial.

@sidsmom?  I don't understand your remark.  It was my own pov-why try to dissect something not intended?

Re: New Gain detergent commercial....

I think I know some parents of 10 year old boys who would get a chuckle out ot this commercial.

I must terminate my relationship with them immediately.

Ok. Cool.

I just thought the ‘Kids are not going to run out and buy Gain’

was a Captain Obvious type of comment...just curious of the

thought behind it, that’s all. No biggie.

Re: New Gain detergent commercial....

I'd seen this commercial a couple days ago and did feel any reaction to it  --  Probably because I know they are paid actors acting out a script intended to affect me somehow and I choose to observe rather than react -- plus I've raised two boys.  Getting a visceral reaction is what the company paid for.  Lots of viewers will be in the store, see "GAIN" on the box and give it a try and may not even remember the ad itself.  This is marketing 101.

Thanks for the laugh -- a necessity to offset the absurd.
