@Lucky Charm I couldn't help but laugh at your post. I feel your pain with the magazine subscription that automatically renews and the inability to cancel. I can't remember which mag it was, but I do know I received one for years that I no longer wanted. I was fortunate in that, when my credit card was no longer good due to the date, they finally stopped sending me the magazine.

I can't believe they were able to get hold of your new number. That is so frustrating!

@ I think that statement can be a little anti elitist. It may be true for some cases. Most of the kids go away, change last name to their moms or a last name not so recognizable just to cut it on their own. . I think in this day, with newer generation, the last name Malle might not be a bell ringer right off the bat. Also, true one can get in the door a bit easier in some places, but staying there is another. People are twice as judgemental, like people here, workmates can be brutal, and the leadership in a business worth anything isn't going to allow someone who can't cut it stay on.
