@Lucky Charm   I couldn't help but laugh at your post.  I feel your pain with the magazine subscription that automatically renews and the inability to cancel.  I can't remember which mag it was, but I do know I received one for years that I no longer wanted.  I was fortunate in that, when my credit card was no longer good due to the date, they finally stopped sending me the magazine.

I can't believe they were able to get hold of your new number.  That is so frustrating!

Despite her claim that she always worked harder because of her famous parents the fact of the matter is if you go through the school system in Beverly Hills (because you lived there your entire life) you know everyone who's influential; the parents and grandparents of her friends.

@ I think that statement can be a little anti elitist. It may be true for some cases.  Most of the kids go away, change last name to their moms or a last name not so recognizable just to cut it on their own. . I think in this day, with newer generation, the last name Malle might not be a bell ringer right off the bat. Also,  true one can get in the door a bit easier in some places, but staying there is another. People are twice as judgemental, like people here, workmates can be brutal, and the leadership in a business worth anything isn't going to allow someone who can't cut it stay on. I am sure Chloe, with Her mom being a for,or model and an actress, had some names she could call, but rest was up to jer

who in their right mind who wasn't super capable of doing the job ..a cut above, would ever dare to work under Anna W.?  They would be out the door so fast without so much as a parting latte. No tolerance for slacking on Anna's part. But we will see.

@shoekitty

Is my statement anti elitist.  Do I support a group of people that are characterized by privilege, status, or specialized knowledge.

My reaction would be the same if that scenario had occurred within my own group of people.
