I Always feel that someone did not want the perpetrator to be identified.
ITA ... but she began losing her childhood when her parents began grooming her for pageants and whatnot that sexualizes little girls. I would not be surprised if her face or likeness are still on child "pron" sites in all sorts of suggestive situations.

If I remember correctly the family had some kind of open house the day before and I always thought that someone stayed behind and hid in the basement. I truly hope the police catch the person that did this to this little girl. This was the work of a very sick person.

@Effie54 We know who killed Natalie because he is in jail for killing another woman several years back. His father was a judge in Aruba and I have a feeling knew his son was sick and killed Natalie.

I wonder if we'll ever know for sure who the guilty party is. Mrs. Ramsey always got on my nerves but that doesn't mean she's guilty. As for the rest of the family--or anyone else...who knows?
I think there should be a law against "beauty pagents" for children under 18. Seeing that little girl all tarted up made me sick. That's pedophilia just waiting to happen.

I live in Colorado. This didn't even make the news here. This is tabloid junk.

Hubby and I received two Ancestry kits as gifts for our 50th anniversary. I have them stored away in a closet because hubby refuses to send in a DNA sample to Ancestry and doesn't want me to either. He's a retired big city police detective and says that Ancestry stuff and similar genealogy testing can lead to trouble if those places sell your DNA info to who knows where.

Why would the killer have left a ransom letter if he didn't kidnap her? What would be the point of that?
It just doesn't make sense that a stranger came in and killed her. I think all evidence points to her brother. To me, the evidence is overwhelming.

@Daisy Sunflower I agree. And that's the only explanation where the ransom note and really all the rest if what happened that night, makes sense. The parents covered up to protect their surviving child. It also explains why John still wanted his pilot to fly the family to their Michigan vacation home the next day as originally planned. Why else would they want to leave town the day after JB was killed? To get Burke out of there.
