Yes, it was a very sad case, that poor little girl, but my hunch was that it was the son that was the perpetrator of the crime..In interviews I've seen with him, he seems "mentally off"...hopefully this breakthrough will help reveal the truth and justice will finally be served!
@Spurt Dr. Phil interviewed him about 5 years ago, and Dr Phil explained said that the smiling etc was because he was on the autism spectrum. He works a job with computers and is married...not mentally off..

I believe I mentioned, years ago, that I thought it could be a neighbor (or his/her teens) or one of the brother's friends' siblings.
You know how gossip spreads among neighbors, then to their teens, etc.
Well, we will eventually hear the truth.
I'm guessing that authorities are working on the case. Especially now with the latest DNA research and development.

Roscoe J. Clark, the founder of the online group JonBenét investigations and co-investigator, Derek Brommerich, gathered a DNA sample from a discarded cigarette after they've kept an close eye on the individual they think may be responsible. The DNA was given to Sheriff Mike Angus in Flint, Michigan on May 7.
Not sure how legit this is...

Oh, gosh, I hope they catch the killer. It never made sense to me that family did it.

I feel bad for her family, who were accused of so much. I remember reading John dated Beth Holloway for a while some years back, after he was widowed. I remember thinking there was no way Beth would have dated him if she had even the teeniest doubt about him. What this little girl went through is unspeakable. I still have a hard time knowing anyone is capable of this evil.

The incompetent police in Boulder, CO blamed the parents immediately. There was evidence that the parents weren't involved - but they kept accusing them - so the public believed it. Lou Smits, a retired detective, went to the house and crawled thru the broken window of the basement and walked thru the house describing how someone came into the house while the Ramseys were at a Christmas Party. Did the cops admit they were wrong - of course not.

@kivah A stranger doesn't come in and stay in the house writing the War and Peace of ransom notes (including a first draft) when the adults could wake up at any moment. On Patsy's pad with her pen. Using odd phrases in the note and punctuation that Patsy used in earlier correspondence. Do you really think some stranger came in, killed JB and then hung around writing a draft first and then a multiple page ransom note while the parents were upstairs? I think not....

No handwriting expert ever concluded that Patsy wrote that note. There is absolutely no evidence that the note was ever written that night either.

But you need to realize just because he has a job and is married and has austism that doesn't mean he couldnt be involved in child pornography/child molestation and have an "addiction"....
Here's some information from the National Library of Medicine and National Insitute of Health and an article by Dr. Daniel Schottle---
"Individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) show the entire range of sexual behaviors. However, due to the core symptoms of the disorder spectrum, including deficits in social skills, sensory hypo- and hypersensitivities, and repetitive behaviors, some ASD individuals might develop quantitatively above-average or nonnormative sexual behaviors and interests. (nonnormative is defined as not conforming to, not reflecting an established norm, or deviating from a specific standard of comparison for a person or group of people, particularly a standard determined by cultural ideals of how things ought to be)."

I think it was the father, mother or son. All three knew and all protected the guilty one!
