@shoekitty   California is the 5th largest economy in the WORLD? Not trying to start an argument but I don’t know where that is coming from. Just wondering..... I tried to google it, but couldn’t find any of the articles to mention this. 🙂

I thought it was pretty common knowledge. But I am a Californian, so it is one one of my bragging rights, lol. Yup We are.     Of course, after this pandemic... who knows. We were for several years.  Last update was Dec 2019    I found lots of articles  I cued search engine the following:   California fifth largerest income in world.   Try that, hope it helps.  Remember, Silicon Valley alone harbors eBay, Netflix, yahoo, google, Microsoft, Apple ( Apple is a whole city here just about) .  There is Sun Systems, NASA, Lockheed/Martin, Adobe, I could go on.  We are also the most populous state still....I think     Population adds a lot to economy as well

Great decision by the Governor!! I love California. I wish my state would make them mandatory.

@shoekitty  I thought that maybe you meant the US, so my bad. I wasn’t trying to be snarky. There are a lot of different reports out there,  Here is the first one that popped up when I googled it.

@KaySD  It did come up when I googled it but it was not the first article that came up. I have no doubt they have a big economy. I thought maybe she meant US. I honestly don’t research states economies. 🙂

@shoekitty  I did find it and again I’m sorry as I thought you meant US. 😊. I’m not doubting their economy, as it’s a very large state. I can’t imagine being in charge of their finances and all those numbers. Glad there are people who can do that. 😁

That is such an interesting  question  really.  I guess the United States is the largest economy in the world,as a whole     They must break it down further  I have always heard California presented as, the largest economy  in the world.  So, obviously  they must break it down further. Lol and so it goes....

@shoekitty @bikerbabe   I guess the big question will be if they (govt) enforce it and how? In any state that this is required, many people like the homeless and such, won’t wear them. I am sure there are places available that are donating masks.

Why is this new? Everyone should have been doing this all along! It's incredibly selfish not to.
