Every business has a sign that says that one MUST wear a mask upon entering.
We are in PA and my daughter works in a grocery store. There is a
sign stating everyone who enters to wear one but still there are
people she tells me who come in all the time and don't wear one.
Nothing happens to them.
Guess their attitude is don't wear, don't care.

I'd love to know how he will enforce this. So many laws already on the books that people don't seem to think they need to abide by.
i wear a mask inside a store when I have rarely gone and I find myself almost at panic mode. Luckily I hardly go inside anywhere. But for those who say the heat should not be an issue I beg to differ.

In Michigan wearing a mask is required. Everyone seems to be complying in public places. I have seen the occasionally idiot entering Panera or place of business but don't know what happens when they go into a store. All store employees are compliant.
When outdoors walking people are not wearing them but keep a wide social distance.
The only worrisome thing I see is outside gatherings at homes when people are mingling close to each. No masks and not really social distancing.

I've seen it even in my own ________. Dare I say.
Just that attitude of not caring.........
Enough said.
shoekitty said, I call it oppositional defiant personality disorder. It's a strong sense of entitlement, yes but to me it is the oppositional disorder. People with this will fight to the bitter end to prove their point, even if the know they have been disproved. A distain for authority, government and being told what to do is covering up insecurity, and fear of things changing. Just MHO

@Anonymous032819, it's now a state requirement. That means that it should supecede local counties and cities, several of which have no such requirement, but rather just a recommendation. The news has profiled some that have had to cave in light of some very angry non-users -- there have death threats.
Death threats? Wow, there are some very sick/sad people these days. Pathetic state of affairs.
And I've seen many photos of celebrities walking around in CA wearing masks.

@Lali1, there may be some outliers (outlaws?), but I've noticed that if there is a sign outside a business that says a mask is required, people do comply.
I personally hate wearing one, but I have no choice since Los Angeles County has required it for some time now. When I exercise walk, however, I rely on physical distancing. I've become an expert on zig-zaging.
ETA: I should have mentioned that exercise is not included in the mandate, so I will not be facing jail time. :-)

@Greeneyedlady21, yes, indeed. It's been a big issue the last few days in Orange County. And the same ii at least one other area.
Just to give you an idea about this battle, Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts said communities in his state that require mask-wearing in courthouses and other public offices would be ineligible to receive federal funds allotted through the state to deal with the pandemic.
Even jaded old me is stunned by all this.

I don't go out much but when I had to go to the bank and grocery store everyone was wearing a mask and I don't think you can get in without one, But on the street, while most do, there are some that don't and some seem totally oblivious. I saw a few younger women texting or reading their phones walking down the street with their mask around their wrists. That was helpful!!
