The day of the attack is embedded in my brain, I will never forget it.  I am a native New Yorker although I moved to the West Coast in 1965.   It was something I never believed would happen and when I saw live pictures on television I was outraged.  It was beyond belief, almost as though I was watching a movie, it wasn't real, but it was.  So many lives lost, so many lives torn to pieces.  I pray it will never happen again.
