My husband and I have been faithful and great renters for the past 5 1/2 years. We paid the rent on time, kept to ourselves and are really good to our neighbors. Our landlady constantly expresses her lack of desire to live in the apartment and assures as we can rent for as long as we want. Then at 9 pm on 1/31/2011, she called us and told us that she need us out of the place by 5 pm 3/3/2011. Only reason she said was that her circumstances change and she need the place back. Totally understandable until she said that she has been thinking about it for 3 months. You would think that as good and faithful renters for over 5 years that she could have warned us earlier than the required 30 days? We can't help but feel jaded and betrayed that she didn't even give us fair warning considering she was thinking about it 3 months ago. It's the middle of winter and we are totally unprepared for the news. I am just mad and I need to vent.... Thanks for reading!
