Hi! All

There are S-o--o many talented people here...on the forum..

I'd like to get some ideas...on being able to re-use a clear glass compote that has a logo stamped on it..that I'd like to cover, or something..I've tried to sand-paper it off...no go.

I'm only semi-handy, so rather simple, please.

Anyone? 😉

@DesertGems

At a vacation home that had frosted glass side panels, there were 3 small clear circles of glass spaced throughout the frosted glass.  Anyone approaching the door could see directly into the great room.

At a dollar store, I found small bird and butterfly figures that I could stick to the clear areas.  Voila: privacy and no damage to glass.

This may work for you hopefully.

What do you mean by "compote?"  A small glass jar, like Oui Yogurt comes in?

Anything you do to hide the logo will probably just call more attention to it.

Just let it be. Few people will notice. No one will mind.

It is a jar with a lid ( maybe, actually..like for candy

@DesertGems - maybe contact a glass company and ask what they recommend in taking the lettering off.

Depending on what you are intending on using it for if you can't get the lettering off you can make a flower arrangement in it by gluing a block of dry oasis at the bottom of it and putting some of the greens down on an angle to cover the lettering.
