Re: Need suggestions for a Christmas gift for a friend

@luvmyteddy4How about this?

H229999

Berkshire Oversized 60" x 70" VelvetSoft Rev to Sherpa Throw

It comes in grey (neutral) and several other colors and it's only $19.98!!!!! I wish I had waited for this one cuz I paid more for a few throws and they didn't have sherpa on the other side. To me, this is a great buy!!!

@Etoile308Not a cactus when you have cats. Not safe.

Re: Need suggestions for a Christmas gift for a friend

I have given the Amaryllis bulb wrapped in wax to many people who are difficult to buy for & I get one for myself every year. They require no care & just set them where they can get a little light & wait for the beautiful flower to bloom. I find them so uplifting when they flower & they are fascinating to watch. QVC had them but I got mine at Trader Joe’s & the flower was much bigger than the one I purchased from QVC & much cheaper but the wax around the bulb was prettier from QVC

@Love my grandkids, a Christmas cactus is not really a cactus plant, and they are non-toxic to cats.

Re: Need suggestions for a Christmas gift for a friend

I would not want to get another throw. I think they have been overdone. I have 6 of them and don't want more.

I like the idea of a Christmas related decor item such as a LED candle and ring since she has cats the LED candle would offer soft light and no dangerous flame.or a Christmas bowl or Christmas plate with crackers/cheese on it or a Christmas tin to be filled with a low calorie food item. If you have a Home Goods store, they have a lot of interesting boxed or jarred foods and decor and Hobby Lobby has many Christmas related items and 60% off. Can order on-line.

I'll bet we've gotten a dozen throws in the last few years. One woman gives us at least one every year. Don't know about you all but we've been thrown, candled and mugged to pieces! Woman Very Happy

@luvmyteddy4My favorite restaurant is offering a special right now. If you buy $100 in gift cards, you get a $20 gift card in addition to the $100 in gift cards.

Not sure if that would work for you. But just thought I would add to the suggestions.

I think a throw in soft neutral color is an excellent idea.

A neutral throw is a great idea!

Is there anything that you can see on the outside of their home? Garden flags, either Christmas themed or not would be nice if they use them throughout the year. We give those to my sister-in-laws each year and they are delighted.

I'm sure they will like whatever you give them!

They have a sunroom, I thought about a lantern type piece but 20.00 will be difficult. They also have cats.

Do you have a Dollar General near you? They have some really cute home items. They have throws too.
