Need some books on CD ideas for my recuperation

I'll be recuperating from surgery for a few weeks and my sight will be impaired. I need to get a few books on CD. Nothing too heavy. I like mysteries that take place in New England.

I recommend any of the Shopaholic books. The audio versions of these are priceless!

I also love the Miss Julia series (which should be heard in order). The Southern accent of the narrator enhances the sly humor of this delightful saga.

If you have a Kindle or a device that runs the Kindle app, many e-books are now available with an Audible narration option so no need for a CD or CD player.

I hope your surgery and recovery go well.

There is a series that takes place on Martha's Vineyard that I enjoyed listening to on CD. They are not complicated mysteries and really kept my attention while listening. Author is Philip Craig and the titles I recall are:

Vineyard Prey

Vineyard Killing
