The oven we have had is at least 30 years old--a GE. The heating element is bright red most of the way round (not totally but not sure if it would be my problem) and we have a digital thermometer telling us the temperature and it says it is hotter than what we have it set at. Now usually when I pull things out of the oven, you can see the heat pouring out and can readily feel how warm it is, but that is not the case presently. So do you all think that even though my heating element works that it is not working properly or could it be some other function of the oven I am unaware of.
HELP AS I AM HOSTING THANKSGIVING AND DON'T WANT TO MESS UP THE TURKEY!!!!
